Michael's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Paul Popovich. Born in June of 1949. He was a loving father, husband, and brother. He passed away peacefully at home on January 6, 2024 with his family by his side.
Michael was a hardworking man who served in the United States Air Force and retired from TRW where he met many of his life long friends. Due to his need for camaraderie and love of golf he also worked at Fowler’s Mill Golf Course following retirement. Known for his humor and sarcasm, he was always ready to share a laugh or two. Michael loved many hobbies during his life, including, fishing, hunting, bowling, and golf.
Michael leaves behind his beloved wife of 36 year Denise Popovich, his daughters Kimberly Popovich and Allison Martin, and his son Christopher Popovich. He also leaves behind his brother, Steve Popovich. His memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren who he loved very much.
Michael was predeceased by his mother, Agnes (Sue) Popovich, his father, George Popovich, and his brother George Jr. Popovich. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of love and support they have received during this difficult time. Michael was a great man who will forever be missed. His life will continue to be celebrated by his loved ones, who will fondly remember his giving nature, hilarious sarcasm, and love for life. Michael's absence will be deeply felt, but his spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
