Michael "Mike" Soren Picking passed away November 17,2020 in Seminole OK. Mike was loved and will be missed by his mother and father, three brothers, two sisters, his son, former wife, two step sons, step daughter, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Mike was born January 18, 1965 to Robert and Barbara Picking of Anaheim CA. Mike was the third of four boys in the family. He joined older brothers Tim and Bob. Mike was followed by sister Sarah, brother Johnny and sister Jenny.
When Mike was 15 his family moved from Anaheim CA to Sacramento CA.
Mike was employed by Beck's Furniture for several years. He then went on to work in the hotel industry where he received several awards for his work.
Mike later moved to Seminole OK to live with his son and former wife. Mike loved the new surroundings and was excited to be starting a new life. He loved the rural area, the very different weather as well as simply being so very close to his son after having lived apart from him for many years
In lieu of flowers, any donations may be sent to his son, William Soren Picking, 35996 E Highway 2780, Seminole OK 74868 to help in the cost of settling his father's personal affairs
Mike will always be loved and truly missed by so many
A life gone too soon. We were lucky to have had him in our lives for the time that we did.
