Michael was a kind and gentle soul, a calm and peaceful man whose presence brought ease to those around him. Though soft‑spoken by nature, his music filled countless houses, bars, and gardens over the years. Wherever he went, his guitar was never far behind, and it took only the lightest encouragement for him to spark a sing‑song among family and friends. Many of you will remember raising a pint with him, listening to his voice carry through a room, or watching him play live in the bars and pubs of London.

Music was woven into the fabric of Michael’s life, and he shared it freely with everyone lucky enough to know him. Even as life grew harder, his spirit remained steady. He fought bravely—first against throat cancer, which cruelly stole the singing voice that had brought joy to so many, and then against stomach cancer, which finally took him from us on the 7th of March. Through it all, he showed the same quiet strength and grace that defined him.

As we prepare to say our final farewell, we take comfort in knowing he will be surrounded by the love of family and friends—those who sang with him, laughed with him, and walked beside him through every chapter of his life. His music may have fallen silent, but the memories he created will continue to echo in the hearts of all who knew him. I will miss him forever.
