Michael "Mike" Moffitt, 76, of Lake Elmo, MN (formerly of Marine on St. Croix, MN) passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on March 11, 2024. Mike grew up in Milford Conneticut and later met and married his wife Claudia and eventually settled down and started a family in Marine on St. Croix where they resided for 37 years.  He worked endless hours as a Realtor and found his niche as a Mortgage Officer where his passion was helping first time homebuyers realize the dream of homeownership.  His greatest joys in life were traveling and spending time with family and friends on the beautiful St. Croix River whether it be fishing, swimming with his grandkids or floating on the pontoon.   Mike will be forever missed and always remembered.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, his in-laws and some of his very best friends. He is survived by his wife Claudia, son Erin (Abby), daughter Maggie (Ryan Ayers), Son in Law Adam Petschke, Grandchildren Benjamin, Maibel, Molly, Owen, Ada, Eliza and Pearl,  Siblings Cathy (James Boyd), John Moffitt (Maryann Galonczyk) and Gerald Moffitt and goddaughter Gabbie (Nancy Harvey).  We all know Mike loved a good party, and that is how we will celebrate his life.   We will send him off with a toast at the Marine Village Hall on Wednesday, May 8th from 5-8pm.
