Michael "Mike" Scott Hart age 54 of Muskegon Heights Mi passed away on November 20th 2019. He was born to the late Bradley and Patricia Hart in Muskegon Mi on Tuesday May 4th 1965.
Mike was a graduate of Muskegon High School. After high school he obtained his associate's degree in criminal justice and went on to the police academy. Mike was Cheif of Police in Hesperia Mi and also worked for the Pentwater Police Department before his medical conditions forced him to resign from the career he loves and looked forward to every day.
Mike is survived by his brother Bradley Dean Hart (Lexi) of Norton Shores. His niece Layna Rae Barnes, nephew Brandon Pascua and a great nephew. Special friends, Tom Kresnek, Annie Greenert and Justin Fessenden. Mike was proceeded in death by his father Bradley Hart Sr and his Mother Pateicia Hart. His sister Tammie Hart also proceeded him.
Mike's favorite sports team was the Miami Dolphins and the Detroit Lions. He enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley music and cruising the shoreline of Lake Michigan.
Mike was one of the most kind hearted people you would ever meet. He would give the shirt off his back for a stranger in need. He fought many obstacles in his life and never once complained or gave up. Mike had the heart of a Lion.
Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Mike's honor to Harbor Hospice of Muskegon or to the Poppen House. Harbor Hospice helped Mike in his last week of life and he resided at the Poppen House during that week where he recieved the most wonderful care.
