Michael's obituary
Michael "Fookin" Devine passed away peacefully on April 15, 2024 at Limerick Regional Hospital in Limerick, Ireland.
Raised in Ireland, Michael came to the U.S in 1984 after joining the Air Force. When he completed his service Mike went on to join Local 30, where he remained for 28 years. In 1993 Michael met his best friend and soon to be wife, Diana.
Together these two raised two daughters, gardened, traveled, had way too many drinks at The Captains Table and Bourbon Street, attended rock concerts, and hung out with their friends.
Michael will be remembered for his love of whiskey, beer, cigarettes, Trump, his grandkids, his stubbornness, his inability to be wrong, drumming, his beloved dogs (whom he was nicer to than his own daughters, Angie and Natalie - who he also loved dearly). He was always the loudest, and the biggest ball breaker in the room. Most importantly, his love for his eternal soulmate Diana will not be forgotten, who he met again, at heavens gate, along with his mam Mary.
Michael is sorely missed by his father, brothers, sisters, daughters, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
