Michael Legette, 76, of Ladson, SC, passed away on July 06, 2025 after a battle with cancer.
Michael was born on December 31,1948 to Orvin & Annie Pearl Legette in Charleston SC. As an adult, Michael had 6 children, Danny , Gary, Michael, Crystal, Brandon, and Keith as well as Eric West his son in law that he loved so much. Daughter in laws Amanda and Autumn Legette. Michael was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his children and his wife of 25 years Teresa Davis Legette and always tried his best to support them. Michael was also a passionate fisherman, race car driver, hunting and APA pool player and could often be found [playing hard or working harder when he wasn’t at home. Micheal loved making money. Anyone who knew Michael knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Michael was predeceased by his sons, Danny, Brandon, Keith Legette and his parents Orvin and Annie Legette.. He is survived by his only daughter Crystal legette Son in Law ( Erik West ) 2 sons Gary Legette, Micheal Legette 2nd, 2 daughter in law Amanda Legette, Autumn Legette, grandchildren Danny Nowak, Kyle Legette, Chris Legette, Matthew West, Micheal Legette 3rd , Marvin Legette, ( Summer)Brandon Legette Jr. Avery Legette, Dylan Legette, William Branham, ( Brittany ) Christopher Legette, Rylan Legette, Nick , Brandon Nahaffey, Pamela Rhodes, Tanya Whetsell, Taylor Legette, Amanda Legette, Kylie Legette, Zoe Legette, Summer Love Legette, Gracelynn Legette, Savannah Legette, Victoria Mobley, Kayla Ann Rozo, Sierra Cook, and Ashley . Mike had 3 step daughters Stacy Davis,Christina Webb, Angie Davis,Anthony Simmons, Jacob Davis, Frankie Chandler, Jayden Chandler, Neal Webb, Noah Hebel, Emily Heald, Sophia Heald, and Brooke Davis, and 25 great grand children and lastly 2 nieces Sherrie Legette and Tammy Legette Campbell. Best friends Ronnie Daniels and Harold Prince. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Parks Funeral Home. There will be a funeral service at Parks funeral home on Sunday July 13th 2025 at 1:30 pm for all guests and 2:30 for family.
