Michael Lee Lavender, age 43, died of heart failure on September 15, 2020 in Casper, Wyoming.
Mike is survived by his son, Donovan Lavender of Denver, Colorado; his son, Nicholas Lavender of Cheyenne, Wyoming; his step-son, Derek Trimble, of Denver, Colorado; his sister Leslie Hancock of Denver, Colorado; his niece, Kara Hancock, of Denver Colorado; his aunt, Ann Edwards of Denver, Colorado and uncle, Ken Hladek, of Denver Colorado, along with numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Carol Lavender of Cheyenne, Wyoming; his father, Deryl Lavender of Denver, Colorado.
Mike was born on January 27, 1977 in Denver, Colorado to parents Carol and Deryl Lavender. During his life he lived in several places, including Port Boliver, Texas; Cheyenne, Wyoming; and Riverton, Wyoming. Mike spent many years working as a roofer. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Anyone who truly knew Mike will be remember him as the fun, caring person that he was.
Per his wishes, cremation will take place. Given the current pandemic, a memorial service is not planned at this time. All of Mike’s friends and family are encouraged to celebrate his life within their individual circles.
