I can't believe a year has passed since Michael left us. He was a wonderful and fun man. Never would I have guessed that my husband Jim   ( Michael's friend) would pass on July 7, 2024. Two beautiful Angels.

I met Mike through work and he was so intelligent and a great mentor.  It evolved into competitive golf matches and basketball, and then being welcomed to be around the Lauinger family.  Mike’s demeanor and love for Gabe and Brittni showed me the way I wanted to be around my kids, and he was always there to provide wisdom.  I will always remember Mike and be thankful for him being such a great person.

I am so sorry to hear about Mike. I live over 250 miles away and these days I get around using a walker so I am unable to drive up to Portland. I had three cousins around my age that I was close to. That was Tom and Mike and Glen. Many happy childhood memories with those guys. I remember the time Mike and I got a hold of a box of about 500 rubber bands, tied them all together and stretched them clear around their house on Flavel Street, about 5 times,  blocking the doors.  Uncle Hank was not pleased. Given his illness, I know it had to be difficult and painful for all of you to watch and experience. I do love all of you, my family, and if I could I would be up there this weekend.
