It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael "Mikey" Johnson, who left us all too soon on February 6th 2024 .A man of tremendous heart and enduring love, Mikey was known best for his kindness, intelligence, and his genuine care for everyone around him. His warm nature and bright spirit will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

Mikey will be forever remembered and dearly missed by his loving mother, Jennifer Hess; his caring father, Roy Johnson; and his 4 brothers, Nathaniel Rector-Johnson, Joseph Rector-Johnson, Nicolas Spindle and Darian, and two step brothers, Nick and Lincoln  with whom he shared countless moments of joy and camaraderie. He was predeceased by his beloved grandfather, Mark Rector.

In his leisure time, Mikey found joy in the simple things. He was an avid gamer and loved nothing more than spending hours playing video games with his brothers and friends. He was happiest in the company of his loved ones and he cherished every moment he could spend with his nieces and nephews.

A local at heart, Mikey loved hanging out with friends at their favorite spots around town. His favorite color, red, was a testament to his vibrant and enthusiastic personality. His favorite drink, Twisted Tea, was often his companion during his merry gatherings.

Mikey's memory will forever be kept alive in the hearts of his family and friends as a kind-hearted, loving, and smart individual who cared about everyone. While his life may have been short, the impact he made on those around him was immeasurable. May he rest in peace.
