Michael Earl Jay passed away on April 9, 2021 after a long and difficult battle with Alzheimer’s. Mike was born in 1947 in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Mike was a Dallas Policeman when he was only 19. After his years with the Police Department, Mike went to work for Allstate Insurance Company. He then opened his own Adjusting company. Mike met his wife of 40 years in Dallas, Texas. Mike and Leslie built his company and traveled both in the US and Internationally.

Mike and Leslie were married on September 7, 1981 in Rockport, Texas. Mike loved fishing and boating. He also enjoyed antique cars. Mike was an avid gun collector. He also had an interesting story to tell.

Mike is survived by his wife, Leslie Kay Jay. His children Melissa Sowards, Rebecca Jay and David Jay. Mike’s five grandchildren will greatly miss him.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, George Byron Jay and Ethel Morris Jay. Also his oldest son, Larry Dwayne Jay.
