Michael "Mikey" C. Iannone, age 30, of 7618 State Route 96, passed away on Tuesday (October 12, 2021) at Geneva General Hospital from complications of Covid-19.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday (October 15) at the Covert Funeral Home, 7199 Main Street. A graveside service will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Saturday (October 16), officiated by Fr. Bernard Maloney, OFMCap of Holy Cross Church.

In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mikey's memory.

Mikey was born in Geneva on March 5, 1991 and graduated from Midlakes High School. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He worked side by side with his grandfather, Ray Zajac, in his property maintenance business. Mikey was married to Kelly Provenza on February 22, 2019 and together they recently formed K & M Lawncare, formerly known as Grease Lighting.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly; his sister, Michele Iannone of Scottsville; his Dad, Guy Folwell of Gates; his grandfather, Raymond Zajac Sr. of Willard; his uncles Raymond (Jodi) Zajac Jr. and Steve (Kim) Zajac all of Ovid; his cousins Raymond "Trey", John, Tracey, Shade and Gemini Zajac; and his wife's family.

Mikey was preceded in death by his mother, Renee Zajac Folwell; and his grandmother, Judy Zajac.
