Mike was a good man. I’m sorry I will miss his celebration of life due to travels.
Loved my uncle and all his quirky amazingness. He was a combat medic in Vietnam, and later became a registered nurse specializing in geriatrics. He was a chuck wagon cook, active in his VVA, and had wonderful friends in addition to an awesome wife and daughters. He was a lifelong learner - from tying flies for fishing to playing the clarinet to tending his bonsais to reading to gardening to so much more, he was a wealth of knowledge and experiences. I will miss him so much.
Sorry for your loss. Keeping you and your family in my prayers. 💜🐕

My dad would call me, I’d answer. He nearly always said, “This is me. Is that you?”
Uncle Mike was always so grea…
Uncle Mike was always so great with kids and I loved seeing him and my son getting to know each other.
