I can't imagine the grief of losing a son, Laura and the grief of losing a brother, Sheila.   My heart goes out to you with this sadness.  I pray for you for this loss of such a kind and caring man.   My sympathy to you and all the family.

I am incredibly sad to hear of your passing.  I will always cherish my memories with the Horton family, and you as my childhood best friends older brother, you became an older brother to me and you’re always incredibly sweet and protective.   I will truly miss our late night chat and texting ramblings, talking about our families history and life as itself.  You will be missed so much ❤️  RIP Mike.

Mike, we had forty-two strong years together this side of heaven. Please don't leave my side as you now fly above me instead of walking next to me. Please guide, protect, and give strength to both Mom and I until we are forever home with you, and please watch over all of your loved ones as they continue their journey's. I will love and miss you for the rest of my days here until we are together again. Until then, I have one request that I must ask you: please come visit Mom and I so that we know you are near. We will be patiently looking, listening, and waiting for you. Now, fly high brother and rest in the arms of the Lord where there is only peace and no more pain. Love you forever Mikey,  Sheila
