My condolences to the loss of Mike. I didn't know you. But death is always hard. I know that personally as I lost two family members in 12.2020 and 06.2021...
My heart goes to your family and I am praying for you.

My condolences to all of Mike’s family. I know Mike as very cooperative & professional partner. He “read” and made the best out of the cultural differences between German headquater and Houston office in very positive way. Mike made an imprint on people he met. He was a warm and humorous. A great loss.

My condolences to the loss of Mike.
I worked with him in barely all of my Zeppelin projects. He was always a though but fair partner. When he entered a meeting, I remember as always optimistic and smiling. I enjoyed the time with him.
All the best to his family and go on being optimistic and smiling like Mike.

Julie, Justin, Jordan...
My sincere and deepest condolence to your family. The funeral was honorable yet sad in so many ways for you and me, I can't explain. Today (after) was without focus and remorseful and heart-broken. Mike and I were friends for quite some time along with Todd Janszen (the 3 Amigos) so full of life. I met Todd & Mike ~1977 thru school, Beverly Hill Int - Dobie High and thereafter, we all hit off running with similar interest...Cars, band, music, frisbee, sports, bikes, skateboarding, water-skiing, beach, and of course girls, etc. Yet we all three were unique and brought great ideas which was never boring. I will always cherish these important times in our lives because we all challenged us to be better and, well Mike was great at it. Jokes all the time was incredible. Mike and & I on a few times even camped out on the beach at bob hall pier (Corpus) with a grill and sleeping bags....and we're so , enjoying our time, smiling every day....well he smirked and I thumbed up surfs up, then he would smirk again..."Let's get it Troy". Spoke to him a couple of years ago and planned to hook up. Yet busy as careers do, did not provide that. But I realize, I wish I could call him and say bro....I miss ya, instead of now. Mike, I will see ya again bro in paradise, save a wave for me.....Love you always.

It‘s been long that we have been sitting together, talking and laughing about life and riding motorcycles. My honest condolences to the family. Sometimes it’s just too early. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Julie,
With great sorrow I learned of Mike's passing and I would like to express my sincere sympathy to you and your family. I am deeply sorry for this tragic loss. No Mike was one-of-a-kind and even though he is gone, he will never be forgotten. 12 years ago we were introduced as colleagues and from the very beginning , we made friends. I am happy for the chance to get to know such an honest and fine man and I will be missing his smile and laughter a lot.
May you find all the love, strength and support you need in this difficult time.
My deepest condolences to you, your family and closest friends as well as to all coworkers at Zeppelin USA.

Loveflies
Dear Julie,
Mark and I just exchanged our memories about Mike and you. We came the first time to your house to find a shelter when we had to leave our flatted apartment house after the Harvey storm. We were so happy to receive your hospitality. At night Mike said, let’s have some big pizzas and beers to relax a little after the drama. We talked about our life stories and enjoyed each other very much. That time your house had a lot of red headed flies in the garden. At the beginning I was scared about the insects, you said, they are harmless loveflies, hanging always close together. Mark and I choose this loveflies as a reminding memory for Mike keeping him in our mind. We wish you and your family all the best, Silke and Mark

Dear Julie, Jordan, and Justin,
We have been neighbors for only 4 years. You welcomed us with open arms and we love y’all so much. We were heartbroken to hear about Mike. Mike loved his family and was always on the patio entertaining and making sure JoJo was center of attention. I will miss my afternoon waves and chats over the fence talking about cars. Mike’s friendship, laughter, and love of life will never be forgotten. We will always be here for you Julie.

Julie, Justin and Jordan,
I’m so sorry for your loss. It truly broke my heart when I heard the news of Mike passing.
Mike was one of my best co-workers while I was at Zeppelin. Every morning he would come around and greet everyone. Always positive and always had a smile on his face. We had many conversations about his love for his family ❤️ He loved Julie so much and He loved Justin and Jordan and he was so proud of both of you!
I always enjoyed our morning talks about what the Surfside cam was showing and how we’d both rather be at the beach that stuck in the office! Talking about what we will do when we retire. He said he wanted to live on the beach and have a surf shop and just be a beach bum.🌊
I will definitely miss his sense of humor the most! I was cutting paper with this large paper cutter and he was walking by and he made a joke about his finger. And I looked up at him and I asked him a serious question about what actually happened to his nub finger?! And as I started to cut the paper with the sharp blade he says”I was actually cutting paper with that machine!” My face turned pale and I got wide eyed! He started cracking up!😂🤣 we laughed so hard!
I have so many memories of Mike. He really was one of the good ones and I will miss him. I hope he has his surf shop in Heaven! Rest In Peace Mike

My condolences to all of Mike’s family. My heart hurts for you all.
Meeting Mike Hoech almost nine years ago changed my life. He took a chance and hired me as his Administrative Assistant when I was in desperate need of a job. He worked with me so I could finish my college degree and most importantly he introduced to my husband of 5 1/2 years.
Mike taught me so much over the years. He was patient when I made mistakes and when I was successful he would always say, “Lauri, I would expect nothing less.” I am a better person for having known Mike Hoech and I will forever be grateful for the role he played in my life.
