Michael's obituary

Michael J. Gary, 64, passed away on July 22, 2024, in Lansing, MI. Born on July 12, 1960, in Jackson, MI, he was a son to Marilynn J Gary and the late Donald L Gary.

Mike was a man of many talents, known for his loving and dedicated nature. He was self-employed as a power washer, where he was appreciated for his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality. Beyond his professional life, Michael was an artistic soul with a passion for fishing, gardening, and cooking, which brought great joy to him and those around him

Family was central to Mike's life. He cherished moments spent with his loved ones, always ready with a helping hand or a comforting word. His unwavering love and support enriched the lives of those around him.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Linda (Crandall) Gary; his son, Kyle Gary (Kayla White); his daughter, Brie Gary (Adam Shue); his grandchildren, Gavin and Vivian Shue; his sisters, Lisa Wilton (Greg Wilton) and Terri Spoors (Tom Spoors); Niece Kaylynn Hendricks (Blake Rocha), Nephew Brad Wilton (Quinn Wilton); and his mother, Marilynn J Gary. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald L Gary, and his grandparents, Kenneth Rockey, Benjamin and Edith Gary.

The family will hold a private service at a date to be determined and would like to thank the fabulous staff at Sparrow Hospital, specifically those on the 5th and 10th floors. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sparrow Hospital in Michael's memory, honoring his life and legacy.

As we mourn his passing, let us also remember the joy and love Mike brought into our lives. His spirit will continue to inspire us all.
