Michael's obituary

Michael Lee Franck, 53, of Ellenton, Florida formerly of Newburgh, NY went home to meet his Lord and Savior Monday, June 13, 2022. Michael was born January 6th, 1969, in Peekskill, New York. He placed his faith in Jesus Christ at a young age. After graduating from Pensacola Christian College (where he met his lovely wife) with a Business Administration degree he moved to Sarasota, FL to work in his chosen field. He and his wife raised their two children in the Sarasota and Ellenton region and were members serving at Faith Baptist Church Sarasota and later Bayside Community Church Bradenton. He cherished his family, had a passion for refurbishing knives, riding motorcycles, and enjoyed watching a variety of sports. After a serious heart episode and receiving a heart transplant in 2016, his active life slowed a bit. He did enjoy hiking through the woods in Georgia, North Carolina, and Emerson Park (Palmetto) when his health challenges were in check.

He was preceded in death by his father John.  He is survived by his wife Denise of 29 years, daughter Julia, son Andrew, Mother Pam, and his brother Larry.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, 11am at Cornerstone Baptist Church Located at 315 US 41 Bypass S. Venice, Florida 34285.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to aid in paying the many medical bills accrued. If you wish, you may give to Cornerstone Baptist Church and designate on check “Mike Franck”. Online giving: https://cornerstonevenice.com…
