It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael James Finlay, lovingly known as Mike, who passed away at the age of 37 on November 1, 2024, in Dayton, Ohio. He was born on February 2, 1987, to Bob and Jean Finlay of Morrow, Ohio. Mike found his greatest joy in spending time with his children, cherishing moments playing video games with his son, Hunter, and fondly recalling the earlier years watching his son Cameron on the basketball court.

Mike is survived by his three beloved children, Cameron Finlay, Hunter Finlay, and Averie Finlay; his sister, Megan Dejean (née Finlay) and her husband Kyle; and his devoted mother, Jean Finlay. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert (Bob) Finlay.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Thursday, November 7, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Community Church, located at 726 East Main St, Colony Square, Unit 14, Lebanon, OH 45036
