In loving memory of Michael Feist, born on May 3, 1943, in Manhattan, New York, and peacefully passed away on January 17, 2024 in Falmouth, MA. (Age 80.)

He was known for his kind and caring nature and an innate ability to captivate everyone with his storytelling.

Michael is survived by his loving daughters, Misty and Julia, and grandson Kai. He was a beloved father and grandfather, and a true friend who is already deeply missed.

Michael was a man of wide-ranging interests and accomplishments.

A fantastic storyteller with an incredible memory he told his life stories and lessons with heart, humor and wisdom. He was a master of history, writing art, and photography ready to share his knowledge and passion with anyone and everyone. 

His own love for travel led him on many adventures through Europe, creating memories that he cherished and loved to share. A gifted photographer, writer, and storyteller, he painted vivid pictures of his experiences with his words and photos. He believed in the power of stories and often said, "Stories can change our hearts, and the hearts can change the world".

Michael's legacy is a life well-lived, filled with creativity, love, and impact. His life was a testament to a man who never stopped learning, loving, and living.

His legacy of love and insatiable curiosity will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known him. Michael Feist's life was a beautiful story that enriched our world, and his memory will forever remain in our hearts.
