Michael George Faubel, of Palos Heights, Illinois, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, October 13. He devoted his life to his family — beloved husband of Sandy; loving father of Michelle (late Mike) Paukstis, Jen (Scott) Baker, and Melissa (Matt) Johnson; proud Pops of Max, Chloe, Cooper, Claudia, Payton, Kennedy, Cameron, Mackenzie, Clare, and Charley; cherished brother of Lynn (late Richard) Joiner, late Cindy Faubel, and Tom (Barb) Faubel; treasured uncle and cousin to many, loved by his extended family, and adoring Pops to seven granddogs.

Mike was a warm and gentle soul, remembered for his kindness, humor, and generous heart. He had a gift for bringing laughter and light to every room.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, at 11:00 a.m. at The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 7800 S. McCarthy Road, Palos Heights, IL. Celebration to follow at The Barrel Club, 4910 W. 111th Street, Oak Lawn.
