Michael James Enzenauer (Mike), 61, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away on March 31, 2025, due to complications from a stroke.

Mike was born in Owatonna, Minnesota, to Donald and the late Evelyn Enzenauer. He attended and graduated from Lyle High School in 1982, where he played football and the tuba.

He earned a degree in offset printing from Austin Vo-Tech, which launched his career as a pressman. He worked at the Pioneer Press, Grand Forks Herald, Globe Gazette, and the Hampton Chronicle.

Mike was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, had a passion for cooking, and loved his animals dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred and Marjorie Enzenauer and William and Irene Elsner, as well as his mother, Evelyn Enzenauer.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Enzenauer-Moe (Lwan); son, Donald Enzenauer (Jessica); four grandchildren, Iszavier, Iszeya, Iszak, and Iszabella; and his father, Donald Enzenauer; three siblings, Donna Bolton (James), Eugene (Bonnie), Alfred (Michelle); two former spouses, Brenda Enzenauer, And Shelly Enzenauer; many nieces and nephews, and great niece and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday May 31, 2025 (1-5pm) at the Glenville Legion, 331 West Main St, Glenville, MN 56036.
