It’s difficult to find the right words to say, dear friend. My heart pours out to you and  your entire family. Just know that we love you and are sending our love and prayers. Michael was a beautiful young man inside and out. He will never be forgotten. ❤️

Jessica your son seems amazing. A life cut short is hard to understand. In my past experience of loosing young loved ones, I remember thinking “please don’t tell me it will get better with time”. I heard that often. Now I know that is all we have to help heal. Loving thoughts. Cathy
My condolences to the family and friends Mike spoke so highly of. Mike was first my barber then became my friend. I always looked forward to seeing him and Bryce for therapy sessions, we spoke of conspiracies, life goals, family, success and so much more. He’s one of the most talented people I’ve been blessed to meet and has a heart a gold. Mike may be gone physically, but he will forever live on in everyone’s mind and soul. Crowne barbershop is a legacy I know Bryce will keep alive. Rest easy brother.
Hello, I work at the apartments where he lived. I had the most pleasant visit with this beautiful young man and  his stunning girlfriend. There was definitely something special about him.  Always smiling and very respectful. Those eyes would twinkle when I asked him what kind of work he did to qualify for the apartment. I rememered him saying, "I'm a barber with  a smile." I was so impressed how he carried himself like an old soul. He was the same age as my son. I told him that my son  wanted to be a barber and I stopped him from that dream. He said, oh no ma'am,  you should have not done  this. It's a very lucrative  career.  I am so sorry for your loss.  Please accept my condolences. He was truly a very special kid.
I discovered Mike while looking for a real barber in Katy! He was that guy. I would go see him from time to time after cutting my own hair. He always would say they “ you did a great job, got the lines straight and just understand that the mirror never lies.” He would  smile from ear to ear when he said it. Not sure exactly what he was meaning. Lol. However, I’ll never find another barber like him. After posting about my hair cut once, my daughter wanted to know how I knew him. She went to school with him as well. He will be missed by many.
The last time I spent time with Mike was during my cut on Thursday. I told him that I might move to Denver, and I was so excited to tell him during my next cut that I am moving to Denver and that he was going to be one of the people I would miss the most for multiple reasons. Of course, Mike was the best barber, but Mike was always there to talk with me about life itself. He always pointed out the positive in negative situations and helped me see that there is more to life than meets the eye. Mike will never be forgotten.

A TRUE friend let’s you cut his hair in Barber 💈 school. Michael’s wanted Bryce to succeed as a Barber also.

Everyone in Ireland and Italy absolutely devastated for the sudden loss of Mike. We all send our deepest condolences to Tony and Uncle Gerald and Auntie Betty and every member of the Durr family . A child should never go before their parents. Our prayers are with Mike and all of you. From all your family in Dublin and Turin.

So sorry for your loss Tony, our condolences to all the Durr family.

The Murray Family

My son and I were very saddened when we heard the news of Mike’s passing and offer our DEEPEST condolences to his family and all of his friends.

Mike was my 14 yr old son’s barber for the past 5 years. He was simply AMAZING with my son who used to hate haircuts until Mike. My son has high functioning autism (Asperger’s) and so he’s socially awkward at times. But Mike NEVER judged my son or treated him like he was weird or not “normal.” He ALWAYS listened to my son when he would talk both of his ears off. Even when it was about something Mike had no interest in, he still listened. He was the one and only barber who ever treated him like that and for that I will be FOREVER GRATEFUL.

(Maybe Heaven needed a new awesome barber.)

My son loved going to the shop for a haircut but he loved trying to impress Mike more. He will forever hold a special place in our heart.
