Michael Duane Johnson 52 of Sherrills Ford passed away on February 14 2026. He resided in BrownCity Mich until 2000. He was a faithful member of Grace Convent church in Mooresville NC. He loved the Lord, he belonged to two Life groups where he became friends with lots of people. Mike loved his Niece’s and Nephew’s. His passion was Gaming the Bible and cooking. And his food was enjoyed by lots of people. He was proceeded in death by his Mother Sandra Johnson and Sister Barb Battle. He survived by his father Jerry Johnson and Brother Edward Johnson and sister Pam Green and nieces and Nephews Cora (Heith) Parker and Marissa (Gabe) Clark, Khyla Turner, Andrew Green, Michael Oliver, Brandon Oliver, Ashley Montross-pontze, Raven Montross, and Great Nephews and Nieces Bryson Parker,Jackson Clark, Karlee Stead, Skyler Green, Iris Green, Xander Turner, Aria Turner and Greyson Bonner, Bella Pontz, Freyah Montross. Michael loved to donate his time to children’s ministry. Memorial Service is Friday February 20 2026 at 1pm at Grace covenant church in Mooresville NC. Refreshments to follow at the fellowship hall. Michael donated his body to science, In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Levine Children’s hospital.
