Award-winning journalist and amazing human being Michael "Mike" Dominick Hoover, 59, of Hanover, Pa., died Aug. 22, 2024, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh after a heart attack. The son of the late Michael P. And Marie Alaimo Hoover, he was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Jan. 10 1965. Mike was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School and of Penn State University.
