Mr. DeBolt was our Junior Class Sponsor and assisted us in planning the Jr./Sr. Prom. I I was Debbie McClour then. One Saturday he drove me and four other class officers around Dallas to find a hotel ballroom that would be perfect for our prom. “Bye, Bye American Pie” came on the radio. I bet he spent 30 minutes explaining every line of that song. I have always remembered that. So sorry for your family.
