Michael Dane Harris, 57, of Saint George, South Carolina, was received into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 2, 2025.
Michael was born on April 13, 1968, in Hamilton, Bermuda to Daniel Wayne and Cheryl Marie Harris. Michael’s life was a testament to his deep faith and commitment to his family. A man with the "biggest servants’ heart," he prioritized God and his loved ones above all else, embodying the true spirit of selflessness.
Michael was well known for his deep love for cooking and catering events. He wasn’t afraid to accept a worthy challenge at a smoke pit or in the kitchen making a side dish. He shared his love and creativity through each of his delicious creations. Even more significant was his passion for his faith and love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a highly knowledgeable Bible Scholar, always eager to share the wisdom and comfort of scripture with those around him. In addition to this, Michael could often be found serving in several capacities within the church. Over the years so many were blessed through song as Michael used his angelic voice for the Lord.
Michael was a loving husband, a beloved father, and a cherished grandfather whose devotion and love leaves an unfading mark with his family.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Laura Jane Harris; his children, Christopher Harris and wife Katia, Elizabeth Wink, Nathanael Harris and wife Audrey, Tiffany Seren and husband Patrick, and Brittany Benton and husband Michael, his mother and step father, Cheryl and Randy Clem, his Siblings Kimberly Pippin and husband Jeff, and Joseph Harris and wife Beth. He also leaves behind nine adored grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Daniel Wayne Harris, and his son, Ryan Paul Harris.
His presence will be profoundly missed, but his family finds peace in the promise of eternal life and their reunion in Heaven.
