Michael's obituary
Michael C. Ames 57 of Providence tragically passed away on September 25, 2024, at home. He was the son of Raymond G. Ames and Frances (Barry) Ames.
He was raised in Franklin Mass and attended public schools.
He was active in hockey and track.
He was kind, funny, and a skilled craftsman.
Michael worked most of his life in construction. He was a hard worker and someone who loved family.
He is survived by his son Michael Ames and his wife Brittany of Winter Haven Fla.
Siblings Maureen Dubois and her husband Michael of Slatersville RI, Brendan Ames of Augusta GA, Stephen Ames of Blackstone Ma, and Allison Hohenstein and her husband Mark of Manchester Mo.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd. North Smithfield, RI.
A celebration of life will take place on January 18, 2025 at 3:00 pm.
