On July 3, 2025 Michael Cavagrotti, 74, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
Michael is survived by his wife Cynthia, his three children Cody, Alexandra, and Mickey, as well as his grandchildren Jordan, Mason, and Teddy.
A boisterous adventurer, Michael was a unique man who commanded the attention in any room with his stories from his extensive travels and his career in the film industry, an industry that he loved and committed his life to.
When he wasn’t traveling the world, Michael had a passion for sports with his two favorites being baseball and football. He was a die hard New York Yankees fan and rarely was spotted without a Yankees baseball cap on. His family and friends will always remember his love and appreciation for history, classic films, holidays, toy soldiers and trains.
Michael was an interesting man and despite all his talents and hobbies he will be most remembered for being a loving man who valued tradition and family above everything. His devotion to his children was obvious to anyone he spoke to. He was the fun dad and loved entertaining his kids every chance he got.
