On May 15, 2024, Michael Carrillo passed away unexpectedly near his home in Prunedale, CA. He was 52 years old.

Michael was born in Santa Cruz, CA on May 9, 1972 to his parents Maurice Carrillo and Sergia Soria.

Michael loved his life with his wife and children more than anything else. He enjoyed listening to Slayer (or any metal or punk really), skating, working in his garden, working on cars with his daughter, but most of all, being at home with his family. Michael was a pretty f’ing awesome human being, husband, best friend, father, brother, uncle and son. He always gave his everything, told it like it is and would always do his best to give himself and his family a good, loving life. He was our world. Our lives will never be the same without him in it.

He is survived by his wife, Sabrina Carrillo, son, Leland Carrillo, daughter, Eva Carrillo and by his siblings Deana Rush and Daniel Carrillo and father, Maurice Carrillo.
