My condolences to Michael's family. I served with Michael in Vietnam in 68-69. I visited Michael upon my return to the states in 69. He even let me use his GTO to take a girl on a date. He always made me laugh.

I knew Mike for 20+ years when we worked together at the Cable company in S.F. He eventually hired me into two very responsible positions, and I worked for him for over 10 years. I still consider him to be the best Boss and Manager I have ever known. He taught me a lot about managing people and gave me the benefit of many life lessons. I cannot describe how much I admired his inner strength, and the calm way he was able to deal with adversity. He was a proverbial "Rock".

I miss him very much.

I had the distinct honor of working with Mike from 2005 through 2009. We got to know each other and loved each other as brothers. I spoke with him from time to time after I moved back to Fla. He spoke of being able to travel here at some point and he would have been welcome in our home. I dont let too many people into my life. I let him in.
