Endlessly curious, effortlessly charismatic, and deeply loving, Michael was a force of nature with the most genuine heart and had a rare ability to connect with anyone. He navigated the world with disarming ease, intuition, fearlessness, imagination, and authenticity. Whether strumming a guitar, shooting hoops, brokering a deal, or sharing a laugh, Michael showed up fully, generously, and with contagious humor and joy.

He was fueled by a passion for entertainment, connecting people, and elevating the next generation of digital talent. A tireless collaborator, he built more than a career, Michael built community.

As Co-Founder and Partner of Greenlight Group, an entertainment management company representing the world’s top content creators, he led with an entrepreneurial spirit and an unshakable belief in people and possibility. Michael successfully bridged talent and brand, creativity and commerce.

Anchored by an unconditional love for his family, Michael extended his love outward. To know him was to feel lucky. To work with him was to be inspired. To love him was easy.

Michael lived boldly, loved fiercely and traveled widely. He passed peacefully and unexpectedly in his sleep while on business in Cannes, France. He was 26 years old.

A steady light in our lives and a catalyst for so many others, Michael’s absence is immeasurable—but so is the impact he leaves; a presence that will echo far beyond his time.

Michael Berkowitz was, and always will be, a gift to all of us. We will carry his light forward, always.
