Dear Bailey Family-My name is Krista Detten and I am the school nurse @ Remington Point Elementary-I worked with Mr.Bailey for three years and I am honored to call him my friend!!His positive attitude, kindness and friendliness was contagious-He was funny too!!I could always count on him to send kids to the clinic who had forgotten to come in and take their meds!!-He knew when I called his classroom exactly what I was calling for and he was on it!!LOL!!He would go outside or wherever and round them up to come to the clinic!! He also taught the 5th. grade boys Puberty Talk Course for me in the Spring-This year though he was out of town but I remember last year that after it was over I saw him way down the hall and he just gave me the thumbs up!!And I did the same back at him!!Ha Ha!!It was done!!I will always remember that!!He also would always call the clinic to let me know or ask if he should send a student down to be checked!!He was always careful to not over run me with kiddos!!Appreciated that so much!!One day recently we were caught up @ the printer in the office and we were discussing places we like to go-We shared a love for The Drover @ the Stockyards come to find out and he said he and his wife Betty loved to go there!!He really seemed to enjoy life and loved his family!!Also....he was so loved by his student's!!He was the cool Teacher to have and the kids really related to him!!I know they will be so sad and hope we can help them through their grief!!I will help anyway I can!!We the staff @ RPE will miss him so much and not be the same without him moving forward!!But..we have to trust in God and continue on helping the kids like he always did!!He would want it that way-Love and prayers to you always!!

To The Bailey Family- I am tremendously sorry for your loss. Mr. Bailey will be missed greatly at RPE, he was a great teacher and everyone will miss his silliness. He was my colleague for 2 years while we both taught 5th grade and was always so helpful. I am praying for you all, may the Lord help you find peace through these hard times.
Bea - thinking of you and your family  and sending prayers of strength during this difficult time.  I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved  husband.  Sending  hugs and love ❤️
Bea, keeping you and your family in my heart and sending love and prayers. xoxo

Betty,

We were so sorry to hear about this tragedy. There are no words to ease the pain. Please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.  We love you!

Kevin & Kathy Smith

Dearest Beatriz, sending you all the love, prayers and hugs that I can possibly send. You and your family are always in my heart ♥️
Praying that you are blessed with God’s peace and comfort during this time.
Bea, you are so loved. Sending all the prayers and love to you and the kids. May Michael's memory be for a blessing.
My deepest sympathies and prayers for Mr. Bailey’s family and closest friends during this very hard time. I got to work with Mr. Bailey for one year at RPE but it was great getting to know him as a teacher. He always spoke so fondly of his family-his wife, children, and parents. He will be greatly missed by his coworkers and students.

Mike will always be in my mind as a man with such a great temperament, a consummate friend, one of the best  family men, with such a jovial personality, with an infectious laugh inducing laugh.

We pray tonight (and will be often)  for you the family! We open our thoughts of condolence, our ears to listen (when needed), and our prayers in this moment now, but also for the journey ahead.
