Michael "Mike" Anthony Chavez, 62, of Long Beach, CA, passed away on April 7, 2022 after a courageous battle with heart and lung issues. Mike was born on July 7, 1959 to Barbara Ann Lamons and Ernest Padilla Chavez in San Pedro, California. He spent his youth in "Pedro" (pronounced 'pea-dro' according to Mike) and considered it his second home after Long Beach.
