Michael Anthony Bowen, known affectionately as Mike, passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 65. Born on December 16, 1958, in Washington, DC, he spent his final moments peacefully in Chesapeake Beach, MD.

Mike was a skilled carpenter, dedicating his life to crafting and building with meticulous attention to detail. His work, characterized by its quality and craftsmanship, brought comfort and beauty into the homes of many.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Juanita and James Bowen, as well as his nephew, Kevin Hammer. Mike's memory will be cherished and kept alive by his sister, Becky Hammer, and his niece, April Richards, who will miss him dearly.

The Potomac Valley Cremation Center of Montgomery County in Germantown, MD, is assisting the family during this time. Mike's life and legacy will be honored in a manner befitting his gentle spirit and dedicated craftsmanship.
