It was a pleasure to "meet" Michael on social media, the connection being his two sisters Moe and Kathy. He was such a great guy, gone too soon. John and I send our condolences to his wife Kathy, children, and sisters. Rest in Peace.

Michael and I met at Marshalls in the 70’s. He was always kind , caring and willing to help. Michael and I were both devoted basketball fans, the exception, he was a Diehard Boston Celtics fan and I was a Diehard NY Knicks fan, having relocated from NY. As competitive as we were, there wasn’t anything we wouldn’t do for each other. In 1984 I had a moderate heart attack, was in the hospital for 2 weeks and one day got a visitor, Michael King. I was so happy to see a friend, but then Michael hands me a package. Only Michael would write to the NY Knicks, telling them about my situation, and received a package of NY Knicks souvenirs that he gave to me. I cried like a baby. From that moment I knew we would be friends for life. My Dear Friend Rest In Peace. You will Never be forgotten ❤️❤️❤️Your Friend,Hal White

I was blessed to be your friend. I was glad our paths crossed many times from the start of RUFF Publishing to Delilah and Tessie being dog buddies, to helping you publish your books, to many superbowl parties, to becoming Kathy’s friend and to both migrating to Cape Cod. I am so glad I was able to share my gratitude of our friendship when I saw you last Wednesday for a brief time. I will forever remember this gift. May you Rest In Peace.

Met Michael freshman year in College, he was a junior, me from CT and he from Mass. hit it off even though I rooted for NY teams. A dear friend thru the years. I will miss him
