Micah Nathanael Schaefer, age 36, of Piqua OH passed away at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at his residence. He was born February 21, 1986 in Troy, OH to Michael E. and Marla (Hole) Schaefer of Fresno, CA and they survive.

Micah is also survived by two sons: Kaden Schaefer, Jacksonville, FL; Maddox Schaefer, Jacksonville, FL; one daughter: Eisley Schaefer, Jacksonville, FL; mother of his children: Whitney Highley, Jacksonville, FL; one brother: Marcus (Mindi) Schaefer, Hilliard, OH; one sister: Melissa (Jorge) Tejeda, Fresno, CA; various cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents: Robert and Mary Schaefer and maternal grandparents: Hiram and Miriam Hole.

Micah attended Piqua City Schools. He loved computers and alternative music. Micah worked as a tow motor operator.

A celebration of Micah’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home in Piqua, OH with Rev. Gregory Simmons officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
