THAYER, MERRILL AUGUST JAMES, 77, of Coral Gables, FL, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024 at his home and surrounded by his children. A beloved father to Amy and Jonathan, Merrill was a lifelong resident of Miami and dedicated 36 years to the Miami-Dade Police Department.
