Electra, Samuel and  to all your family.

My response results from a kind message from Samuel to my closest friend. Samuel advised me that 2022-2023 have been a time of personal loss.

A long time has passed since your mother's and grandmother's deaths.  With such love among family members, I am quite sure that they are looking after you and that our gracious Lord will bless you with memories always until you  and the rest of your family join them  in heaven.

When I was a child, my grandmother comforted me that remembering  loved ones who have left us brings the loved ones back to life, as if they are  awakening from a dream.  In other words, you yourselves  are breathing life into them .

When I pray   I go through the long list of those who have left me   I never fail to remember each loved one.  I am making them live.

I know I'm bringing them back to life, which I know you all are doing.

That gives me enormous comfort.

Dear Electra and Isla, I was very sorry to hear of Merrill's death. She was lovely and gentle with everyone. She and I would have dinner at least a few times weekly at Old Collier; the staff respected and loved her. She was a generous person. My thoughts are with you all and prayers.

My Deepest Condolences to the family of Mrs. duPont. Over the past nine years of my involvement with the Moore Family Foundation and the DuPont-Moore Family Foundation, I had the privilege to interact on occasion with Mrs. duPont. As well as several occasions to accompany Mr. Moore to dinners in which Mrs. duPont was present. Each engagement left me more fulfilled with the wonder of her life. I continue to keep the Moore Family and duPont family in my thoughts.
