Meredith came into my life during a very dark time. Her guidance and teachings were invaluable during this time, and have helped me for years since. Not to mention her positive energy, helpful nature, and kindness that will live on in those she touched. I am so very sorry to hear of her passing, and will forever be grateful our paths crossed.

A few of my favorite memories with Meredith were our roadtrips. We would go from Albuquerque to Colorado and back, and we’d take drives up to the mountains. She even let me drive her brand new car a few times. She introduced me to Combos, Metallica, Fleetwood Mac, and the best jerky in the world (among other things). Anyways, we always got so excited to jam out and yell ‘cows!’ whenever we passed any. I always was laughing when I was with her, and she had the most infectious and beautiful smile. She told me stories and jokes and we would sing Rhianna on the top of our lungs. I remember when she told me how excited she was to become a counselor, to help people and to be there for them in the darkest parts of their lives. I knew she would be amazing at it, because she did that with everyone already. Her loss will forever leave a hole in my heart, and I will miss her so much. I am so honored to be her friend, to have her in our lives was a blessing for all of us. She always remembered my birthday- everyone’s birthdays. That’s just the beautiful person she was. Always so caring and sweet. My heart goes out to everyone she loved and who loved her, and to everyone who had the privilege to call her a friend. 💜

Meredith was a lifeline for me. She was my therapist for years and I will treasure the wisdom, memories, tears, and laughter from our sessions throughout my life. What a miracle that I was able to meet her, to learn from her and find myself, love more of myself because of her. Her impact on my life has been immeasurable. Her unwavering kindness, practicality, and humour reached me even in some of the most desperate moments of my life.
