I didn’t know her that well, but we became pelpals over our shared love of a book series called Super Powereds. We would talk about the story and our families. She was amazing. I’m going to miss her insight and views on future novels. I’m so sorry for your loss. Rest in Power Suzymayy.. your name will forever be on my wall.

Meme, God I miss her. From our holidays together, birthdays together, shopping sprees, and school events for the boys, there are too many memories to start sharing. Marty and I will continue watching over Keith, being there for her parents and family, and being there for Grey and Des. Reading all these beautiful words that Meme would love, please continue checking in on Keith and the boys. A part of her loving heart is always with them.
Every time we spoke or visited, without fail, we always ended with “I love you”. This is my last “I love you” Meme. I will be by the boy’s side, always keeping your memory alive for them until my time to exit comes.

I meet Sou when we were both working at GCC in 2009. She was such a wonderful friend and co-worker. Always positive and sharing her beautiful smile. Dur part of the time I was training a new service dog and Sou was very patient when I needed to take a sudden break. She was a wonderful woman who gave of herself without limits. I send my deepest condolences to Sou's husband, children and family. She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.

Meme told me this story and I will never forget it. She told me that she was waiting in line to check out at Joann’s (an arts and crafts store). There was an older couple in front of her in line. When they approached the cashier Meme could hear that they were speaking Chinese. The cashier was having difficulty understanding what they needed. Meme stepped up and said “Hi. I can help with this.” And Meme proceeded to interpret between the English speaking cashier and the Chinese speaking couple.
Once they left the cashier checked out Meme and thanked her greatly for her help. Having paid for her purchase, Meme turned around to leave. She glanced back to the people who were next in line behind her. She saw that they were signing with one another and were clearly deaf. So, chuckling to herself, Meme turned around and went back to cashier…the SAME cashier…and said “Hi I can help with this too.” And Meme proceeded to interpret between ASL and English. She said the cashier looked at her in total amazement. She probably wondered to herself ‘just how many languages does this girl know?!’.
I will never forget this story, and laughing with Meme as she told it to me. Meme was an absolutely delightful person. She was beautiful inside and out. She ADORED her family. Meme was happy. I think of her every time I drive by a Joann’s. I will forever remember her beautiful spirit. I am grateful for her life. I will never forget dear Meme.

My condolences go out to Keith, and her two boys, and her family. This is without a doubt a shock. Meme worked for me and I will always remember her as a quiet, hard worker, gentle soul, beautiful inside and out. We have definitely lost a beautiful person.

I'm so sad to hear of Meme's passing! I met her years ago, even before she was pregnant with her first child, and interpreted with her many times over the years. She always flattered me about my years of experience as an interpreter and asked for my mentorship on our jobs. She was such a conscientious and diligent interpreter, always humble and wanting to do the best for our clients. I loved her smile and cheerful demeanor. She encouraged her husband and me to be friends, since she always wanted what was best for others. I remember a time I was hangry on a job and the vending machine at our workplace was broken. She pulled a snack bar out of her purse and handed it to me with a caring smile, saying "I'm a mom. I always carry snacks." It's hard to believe I'll never again be greeted by her sweet face, enjoy watching her beautiful signing, or hug her after a job. I'll always cherish the times we spent together. I wish Keith, Desmond, Greyson, and the rest of her family and friends all the strength they need to grieve their beloved May and let her memory be for them a blessing.
