Melvin “Red” Whitten Sr peacefully passed away in the comfort of his home on March 6, 2022. He was born April 23, 1964, to the late Calvin V. Whitten and Rosa R. Whitten. Melvin was a native of Norfolk, Virginia, and graduated from Granby High School, where he played football and ran track.
