Melvin was like a father to me. We had our differences but one thing I learned no matter what happened I knew he loved me and I could go to him anytime. He was a stubborn but well loved. He taught me all about ball stuff football Redskins , baseball Dodgers and basketball Celtics. I loved watching these teams play with him . Melvin will always hold a dear place in my heart. Our relationship never ended after his son James and I divorced.
