WHAT’S LEFT?

It occurs to me that the people I love are as human as me.

We are all here for a bit of time, as much as G-d grants us.

All the experiences and learning will go away when we die.

So what’s left? What’s the legacy of all our efforts?

Human growth is not an individual prospect. It is what we share with our loved ones.

It’s what we build with our efforts.

His legacy of loving and giving is how I hope Mel is remembered.

Our family and friends know the soul he was and may that inspire them.

Right or wrong is just a perspective—a judgement.

Goodness lasts forever.

These words on paper are the litany of my heart, but may he be remembered by the warmth of his soul.
