I am writing this letter to inform family and friends of the passing of Melody White, known to many as “Big Girl/Mel.” She had recently been admitted into Emory Midtown Hospital ICU for several days due to Congestive Heart Failure and difficulty breathing. She had recovered and taken off the ventilator and placed on a regular floor. Needless to say, Melody succumbed to her to her death Monday, Jan. 20, 2020. Her death was unexpected.

Due to a lot of her health issues her insurance company will not payout her Life Insurance benefits because she did not fulfill the insurance requirements of living past 2 years and 1 day. My mom was a very beautiful and strong woman with a heart of gold and jokes! She always kept a smile on her face, gave unconditional love and a supply of kindness and understanding to everyone that encountered her.
