MELISSA's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Melissa "Missy aka Boo Boo" McCullough on May 18, 2023. Born on December 8, 1967, Melissa lived a vibrant and fulfilling life, touching the lives of many with her warmth and kindness.
Throughout her life, Melissa was known for her dedication to her chosen profession. In 2023, she completed over 20 years of dedicated service with Johns Hopkins Hospital. Her commitment to her work was admirable, and she will be deeply missed by her colleagues.
Melissa enjoyed cheering for her favorite team, the Baltimore Ravens. Her favorite form of exercise was walking, which she did regularly to keep herself active and healthy. Melissa truly believed in the importance of helping others, and she cared about everyone around her. Her loving and compassionate nature will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Despite having no particular favorite color, Melissa appreciated the beauty in all colors, symbolizing her ability to see the good in every aspect of life. Her love for life and people around her will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is survived by her mother, Brenda Johnson; her children, Raven Townsend, Ryan Henry, and Rasaahn Johnson; her brothers, Antonio Johnson, Nathaniel Cameron, and Edward Tillery; and her sister-in-law, Alisa Slappy-Tillery. Her family will remember her as a devoted and loving individual who always put the needs of others before her own.
Although Melissa's physical presence is no longer with us, her memory will live on in our hearts forever. We will cherish the moments we shared with her and celebrate the extraordinary life she led. May Melissa's soul find eternal peace and rest.
