Melissa was happy and full of joy from the day she took her first breath. In the delivery room, the doctor put her in  Susan’s arms. Melissa immediately opened her big eyes, lifted her head and looked around. Not sure if she was just curious or letting everyone know..”Here I Am”.

Always funny, life of the party. Extremely smart with little common sense, kept everyone rolling with laughter. If it entered her brain, it immediately came out of her mouth…”what’s wrong with that” she would say. 

Missy always cared for others and put herself last, all the way to the end.  One of her last wishes was to see everyone! As she saw each person, a Hug , a Kiss and I Love You put a smile on her face and a sparkle in her eyes…her wish was complete.

It’s funny, when I talked to Missy towards her last day, in intense pain, which she told few. If anyone asked, she would smile and say “I’m OK…she looked me in the eye and asked “will it hurt when I die”? 

I will hold in my heart forever her last words to me..I Love You Daddy

She will be missed by many!!!

I'm saddened to hear of Melissa's passing. I had the pleasure of working with her for many years. She always had a great attitude and was very skilled at her job. Melissa was always the the one I went to when I needed something done quickly and correctly. 

My family will be praying for all of her loved ones left behind, especially Sal and her children. God bless her family.
