Mom enjoyed making other people happy. I remember from childhood, my mother put so much effort and passion into planning family vacations to Disney World. Often inviting grandparents and other family, I truly believe she wanted everyone to experience her happy place the way that she did. She also loved to give gifts, all of her children had the very best Christmas every single year.

Her dolls that she made were beautiful. I remember being amazed by the process, but the way that she made each baby doll look so real was absolutely impressive. Mom had a knack for being amazing at all of her hobbies.

Some of the things that she has told me over the years will always ring in my ears just when the time is right. She had a lot of wisdom and was a walking book of knowledge, so resourceful. So many times, I remember the neighbors, friends, and family asking her questions and for advice. She taught me how to be an independent learner. Thank you to my mom for the memories, the words of wisdom, and all the smiles. Missing mommy but I know she is at peace in heaven.
