Still can’t believe this. My heart is so heavy. Your bright light will continue to shine through Brian, your sons, grandchildren, Mom, Tim and all who had the pleasure of knowing you. Even though you left us so suddenly, you certainly have left your special footprint of humor, tenancity, love and strong will. I’m thankful we shared so much sometimes good, sometimes not. I AM DYING ON THE INSIDE AUNTIE! 😢😭😭😭😭 your personality was everything! And i know we didnt talk everyday, but I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND SAVE ME A SPOT NEXT TO YOU. Melissa, it took some time to post. I must say I am missing you. I am thankful for our talks, and our lunchtime walks. You were an awesome friend and co-worker. Your presence oftentimes calmed me during difficult times. I want you to know, when you advised I was listening. When you were in the office advocating for your clients, please note I observed in admiration. I Loved your compassion and no nonsense attitude. You are truly unforgettable!! We met and instantly became friends! Our friendship blossomed into sisterhood we laughed together, we cried together, we shared mostly a genuine love and bond for one another. I've never considered anyone my best friend because that space was waiting to be filled by you!!! You were more than a friend you were my sister and I'm going to miss you so much! I miss talking to you everyday sometimes we talked all throughout the day. We were each others shoulder to lean on. I take comfort in being able to be there for you, and hold your hand and whisper in your ear to tell you I loved you in your time of sickness. You would have done the same for me!! Since you been gone all i keep wishing is for one more opportunity to say i love you. I spent so much time being stubborn with you that i didn’t get to tell you enough while you were here. I don’t know how to tell my son he will never see his Mimi again. And the fact that my daughter will never get to meet her grandma will never sit right with me. I love you more than words could ever express mom, and I’ll be missing you until i see you again.

I enjoyed seeing her face every morning at work drinking coffee and sharing experience, strength and hope. She was our glue that held our wing together.
