Melinda I think of you all the time . We did have a great time together. As I get older I can’t figure out why I’m still here. As you would say my lifeline is not completed. I’m living a full life in my retirement. Miss your smile😘😘and our PO venting sessions! 🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏾🙏🏿🙏 Till we meet again!

Hi Lynette,
I heard about you many many times. I actually was in the same hiring group with Melinda in the 70’s. We met and bonded instantly. We worked side by side for many years. Melinda and I lost contact after I resigned from USPS. I then came back in 93 and Melinda and I reunited. She’d come by my office often.
I know in my heart she’s with Kim. They both left us early. My prayers are with you and your family! May Melinda R.I.P.

To Barbara, Lynette,James, Jeffery, Lori and the rest of the Kuykendall Family,
To say I am sorry for your loss seems honest and heartfelt but somewhat hollow. My heart hurts for you.
We grow to accept loss as a part of the circle of life, but certain losses make our hearts literally drop, never to be the same person we once were.
No one can compare and no one will ever replace that special bond you had with Melinda.
I am sending love to you and the promise that time will help, and time will heal.
Please take care of yourselves . Melinda would want that for you,
With sincere condolences.

My name is Lynette Kuykendall, I am Melinda KUYKENDALL’S youngest Sister. Melinda was a great Big Sister. She was generous, she taught me a lot of important things to be able to be self sufficient in life. She always made ve me LOL 😝‼️‼️‼️‼️ALWAYS! EVEN IF IT WAS AT MY EXPENSE. (Lol) SHE DID HER BEST! She loved Stevie Wonder. Melinda was 7 years older than I was. When I would come me home from school, If I would here Stevie playing. I knew, I could run upstairs to her room on the 3rd floor & read the words to the songs on the albums as they played. She already New all the words. Once I learned them. We could sing & dance together to Stevie Wonder. I Will always Cherish those sweet memories & so many more with my Big Sister. She was Awesome!!!
