Melinda and I rode our bikes from Newport to Huntington Beach  pier. We had lunch at a place she loved sitting by an open window. I need yo find the photo. It was  fun lovely day together.

Today would be Melinda‘s 65th birthday. We had talked of going on Medicare together and had a trip planned for last weekend and all these things have made me miss her so much! She has been my friend since I was in seventh grade. She’s been such a good example to me and I love her so much! She was a friend to so many people and not just in name but a true friend! We have had so many adventures together and I look forward to the day when we can have some more adventures together! Happy birthday, Melinda! I love you to the moon and back!

Melinda's circle of influence was huge!  She knew and loved thousands of people.  And we all love her too! She especially loved her children and grandchildren fiercely.  Oh how I will miss Melinda!  She was always available to share a laugh or vent (or have an animal style burger at In & Out).

I enjoyed volunteering with Melinda Day at OCBSA. I am saddened to hear of her passing.  She will be greatly missed.

Melinda started working at Far West Industries shortly after I started work there and in December we were just talking about how we were both going to be celebrating our 10 year anniversaries at the company this year. I will be sad to celebrate this milestone without her.

I miss our little chats on Tuesdays and Fridays and getting to hear all of the latest antics of her grandchildren. The amount of love and affection she had for her sons, daughter, daughters in law and grandchildren, along with all other family members and friends was nothing short of astronomical.

Sending thoughts and prayers to all of Melinda’s family and friends who share this deep loss during this difficult time.
